1. What are Ziddi Artist Grants?

Ziddi Artist Grants is an initiative that provides selected independent artists with non-repayable grants ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹25,000. The program is designed to help artists cover the costs of creating and releasing music.

2. Who can apply?

Any artist with at least one active release distributed through Ziddi can apply for an Artist Grant.

3. How much funding can I receive?

Selected artists may receive grants ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹25,000. The grant amount depends on the application, project requirements, and available funding.

4. Do I need to repay the grant?

No. Ziddi Artist Grants are non-repayable and are not considered loans or royalty advances.

5. How are artists selected?

Applications are reviewed individually based on factors such as the proposed project, artistic potential, eligibility, and available funding. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee funding.

6. What can I use the grant for?

Grants may be used for release-related expenses, including recording, production, mixing, mastering, artwork, music videos, marketing, distribution, and similar creative costs.

8. Do I keep ownership of my music?

Yes. You retain 100% ownership of your music and intellectual property. Receiving a grant does not transfer ownership or copyright to Ziddi.

9. Is there an application fee?

No. Applying for Ziddi Artist Grants is completely free.

No. Each application is reviewed independently, and previous recipients are not guaranteed future grants.
